Roku 2 XD Streaming Player 1080p

My daughter got a Roku and I was able to see what it's about. I ordered mine the next day from Amazon.com. I liked it so much that I got another one 3 weeks later. Now, all my tvs are hooked to Roku. It's so easy to hook up. I already subscribed to Hulu Plus, Netflix & am an Amazon Prime member of some years. I switched my cable service to basic network. But I haven't even watched networks in weeks. The upshot is, even with the subscriptions, I am paying $100 less per month on my cable/Internet service. Works for me.

I read all the reviews about the trouble with the set up for the ROKU, but all I had to do was hook it up and follow the directions. It started right up and worked great. I have a kindle Fire and had already set up video accounts. It made sense to use these video accounts on a bigger screen. I have an older HD TV and the picture is better than my cable TV. I don't think I can replace my cable company with the ROKU, but it makes a really good addition to it. It doesn't get all the programming that cable does, but I can get the TV shows that I missed and can't get on cable even on demand. You need wireless internet and a computer and video accounts, and you are ready to go to watch TV via your ROKU.
